Updates and scenarios of all 15 games

Brooklyn Nets 134, Indiana Pacers 126

  • The Nets survived a few runs from the Pacers to win and take seventh place. They will host Cleveland in their first game of the Play-In Tournament. The winner of that game earns seventh seed and plays either Milwaukee or Boston in the first round of the playoffs.
  • The Pacers are already out.

Cleveland Cavaliers 133, Milwaukee Bucks 115

  • Milwaukee’s loss leaves the door open for Boston to win the No. 2 seed with a win over Memphis, which would leave the Bucks at No. 3 and face the Chicago Bulls in the first round.
  • The Cavaliers’ victory kept them in eighth place. They play in Brooklyn in their first game of the Play-In Tournament. The winner of that game is the seventh seed and will play against Milwaukee or Boston in the first round of the playoffs.

Charlotte Hornets 124, Washington Wizards 108

  • Charlotte did what she could by beating Houston, but the wins of the other Play-In teams kept the Hornets in 10th place. They play in Atlanta in their first game in the Play-In Tournament. The winner of that game will play against the loser of Cavaliers-Nets for the eighth and final playoff spot.
  • The Wizards are already disabled.

Atlanta Hawks 130, Houston Rockets 114

  • Atlanta’s win put them in ninth place and home field advantage in a one-elimination play-in game against the Charlotte Hornets† The winner will go through for a shot at the eighth seed, while the loser will miss the playoffs.
  • The Rockets are already out.

Boston Celtics vs. Memphis Grizzlies (7 ET, TNT)

  • The Celtics could place the runner-up if they win after losing to the Bucks earlier on Sunday. Boston can also go to number 4 if they lose and Philadelphia win.
  • Memphis has already placed #2 and will face either Minnesota or the LA Clippers in the first round.

Toronto Raptors vs. New York Knicks (7 ET, League Pass)

  • The Raptors have already taken the number 5 seed. They will face either the 76ers (most likely scenario) or the Celtics in the first round.
  • The Knicks are already out.

Miami Heat vs. Orlando Magic (7 ET, League Pass)

  • The Heat is locked in the number 1 seed. Miami will face the second survivor of the Play-In Tournament (Nets, Cavaliers, Hawks or Hornets) in the first round.
  • The Magic have already been eliminated.

Detroit Pistons vs. Philadelphia 76ers (7 ET, League Pass)

  • The 76ers are guaranteed a home field in the playoffs. The number 4 seed is the most likely scenario, but if they win and the Celtics lose, the 76ers will take the number 3 seed. Philadelphia will play against Toronto or Chicago in the first round.
  • The Pistons are already out.

Chicago Bulls vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (8:30 ET, League Pass)

  • Already locked in the number 6 seed, the Bulls could face the Celtics, Bucks or 76ers in the first round as any of those teams could be the number 3 seed.
  • The Timberwolves will host the LA Clippers in a Play-In game on Tuesday. The winner of that game will place the number 7 and go on to play the Grizzlies in the first round. The loser will receive the winner of Spurs-Pelicans in the Play-In Tournament and compete for the number 8 of the places, with the winner of that game playing the Suns in the first round.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Dallas Mavericks (9:30 ET, League Pass)

  • To climb to third place, the Mavericks must win and the Warriors must lose. Otherwise, Dallas will be the number 4 seed. The Mavericks will face the Jazz of Nuggets in the first round.
  • San Antonio is in 10th place and will play in New Orleans in the first round of the Play-In Tournament. The winner of that game will play the Timberwolves-Clippers loser and compete for the number 8 seed.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets (9:30 ET, League Pass)

  • There is only one scenario where Denver would take the number 5 seed: a Nuggets win and a Jazz loss. In any other combination, Denver will finish as number 6 in the series with his opponent (Golden State or Dallas) yet to be decided.
  • The Lakers are already out.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. LA Clippers (9:30 ET, League Pass)

  • The Clippers are in eighth place and will face the Timberwolves in the Play-In Tournament. The winner of that game will be seeded seventh and the Grizzlies will play in the first round. The loser of Clippers-Timberwolves would play the winner of Spurs-Pelicans for the eighth seed, with the winner of that game playing the Suns in the first round.
  • The Thunder is already disabled.

Golden State Warriors vs. New Orleans Pelicans (9:30 ET, TNT)

  • The Warriors will take the number 3 seed with a win or a Mavericks loss. If the Warriors lose and the Mavericks win, the Warriors are the number 4 seed. Golden State will face the Nuggets of Jazz in the first round.
  • The Pelicans took ninth place in the Play-In Tournament and will receive the Spurs on Tuesday.

Sacramento Kings vs. Phoenix Suns (9:30 ET, League Pass)

  • The Suns are in first place in the Western Conference, playing against the second survivor of the Play-In Tournament (Timberwolves, Clippers, Pelicans or Spurs).
  • The Kings are already out.

Utah Jazz vs. Portland Trail Blazers (9:30 ET, League Pass)

  • The math is simple for Utah: Win to get the number 5 seed. However, a loss and Nuggets win would drop the Jazz to the number 6 seed. Utah will face the Mavericks of Warriors in the first round.
  • The Trail Blazers are already out.
