Bestinau got that-

A 16-year-old was killed when he and another teen took turns shooting each other with guns while wearing body armor, according to Florida police.

The gunman and another teen have been arrested in connection with the death.

Joshua Vining and Colton Whitler, both 17, were arrested Thursday, Belleview police said in a press release on Facebook. Vining was arrested on suspicion of aggravated manslaughter with a firearm, and Whitler was arrested for providing false information to law enforcement. Both teens are being charged as adults, police said.

Police said they received a call about a shooting around 7 p.m. on April 3. When they arrived at the house, they discovered that Christopher Leroy Broad Jr. was shot inside. He was taken to hospital and died of his injuries.

“In recent days, Sergeant Michael Miley, the BPD’s chief detective, has been investigating this case and finding evidence to prove Vining shot and killed Broad,” police said in a statement.

During the investigation, it was determined that Vining and Broad took turns shooting each other while wearing a vest that contained some sort of body armor. Vining shot Broad while wearing the vest and he was beaten. Whitler, who was initially interviewed as a witness to the shooting, misled officials with misinformation about what happened and who had shot Broad.”

According to affidavits obtained by Click Orlando, the shooting was captured on cell phone video by an 18-year-old who was also in the house at the time. The video reportedly showed Vining holding a bulletproof vest and 9mm pistol to the camera and asking if they had “ever seen anyone shot with a bulletproof vest on”.

At one point in the video, Vining shoots Broad, who is wearing the vest. According to the affidavits, Broad then nods and Vining shoots him four more times, Click Orlando reported.
