DOYLESTOWN, PA — Bestselling author Anna Quindlen will return to Doylestown in April as part of a national tour for her next book, the Doylestown Bookshop announced.

Quindlen signs copies of her new book ‘Write for Your Life’ and meets with Elle Green, founder of the Bucks County Book Festival.

Quindlen’s latest book “claims there has never been a more important moment to stop and record what we think and feel,” according to the bookstore.

“Using examples from the past, present and future – from Anne Frank to Toni Morrison, from love letters written after World War II to diary reflections of nurses and doctors today – Write for Your Life paints a vivid picture of the ways in which writing connects us to ourselves and to those we cherish.”

Tickets cost $33 per person and include a hardcover copy of “Write for Your Life.” There will also be books for sale. Doors open at 6 pm

Quindlen is a Pulitzer Prize winner who has written for the New York Times and Newsweek. She has written a number of novels and non-fiction works. One of these, “One True Thing”, was adapted into a 1998 film starring Meryl Streep, William Hurt and Renée Zellweger.
