Bestinau got that-
The Boulder Fire Department quickly extinguished a fire that sprang from a deck and spread to a residence Friday afternoon.
No injuries were reported, Boulder-Fire Rescue spokesperson Marya Washburn said.
Boulder Police first arrived at the scene at 2980 Juilliard St. around 2:05 p.m., Washburn said. The residents and neighbors reported the fire after they began to smell smoke, she said. The family was quickly evacuated and is safe.
Officers reported that the fire originated from the deck of the single-family home and quickly spread to the house.
According to police traffic, the fire was ‘put out’ at 2:32 p.m.
Washburn knew how much of the house was damaged by the fire. The family has been temporarily displaced, she said.
The fire brigade arrived at the scene around 3 p.m. Friday.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by Boulder-Fire Rescue, Washburn said.
