NBA Youngboy is clearly picky about the artists he works with. Over the years, the Baton Rouge rapper’s recent run of projects have been largely without character. However, he has worked on full-length works with artists such as Rich The Kid and most recently DaBaby.

Youngboy and Chief Keef apparently worked on new music in the past and in 2019 fans received “Fireman”. It seems the two have more music together in the vault. Luckily, fans got a snippet of a collaboration that surfaced this week. Keef and Youngboy alternate melodic bars with guttural sounds in the short clip, but it seems like fans may never hear the official song in its entirety.

Chief Keef disapproved of the social media leak, revealing that the song is nearly four years old. “This 2018 song And I don’t like the song and I’m sure Lil’s people don’t like it either,” he added.

Keef didn’t elaborate on his working relationship with NBA Youngboy, but we can imagine the Baton Rouge star probably won’t release the song without his collaborator’s approval.

Chief Keef hasn’t dropped a project since 2021 4NEM but he is preparing to take the stage at Smoker’s Club Festival where he will perform his debut album Rich at last in its entirety for the 10th anniversary.
