Chris Eubank ran into Frank Skinner when they were seen outside a television studio in London on Friday.

The former boxing legend, 55, looked just as friendly as he enjoyed a quick chat with the comedian, 65, before speeding away in his luxury car.

The sportsman stepped into his iconic £370k Rolls Royce and wore a gold sheriff’s badge and a very smart khaki suit for his outing.

He added a white shirt and a bold gold and burgundy striped tie to a pair of brown patent Chelsea boots.

He drove with the roof down and shielded his eyes with blue-tinted tortoiseshell sunglasses.

Frank looked surprised when he bumped into the boxer as he stood in the road by Chris’ car for a chat.

The eccentric world champion has proudly donned the item since joining the Louisiana Police Department in 2018, despite a UK criminal record.

He added: ‘I’m there on average one week a month and it’s satisfying work. It’s about talking to young people and keeping them away from the criminal justice system.’

The star shared a video of herself on Twitter as a police officer in the US.

The former world champion wore his signature bow tie and showed off his insignia while serving as city marshal in Opelousas, Louisiana.

He was at the scene of a car accident where one of the women involved told him she had “never seen a cop in a bow tie before.”

In the video Chris says, “This is just a car accident – doesn’t look bad, no injuries, but I don’t have a raincoat like the rest of the cops, but that’s okay.”

His new job gives him the power to arrest people, despite being arrested twice in Britain.

The former super middleweight, who was declared bankrupt in 2005 over a £1.3m unpaid tax bill, has lectured on how to ‘peacefully defuse difficult situations’ in the Deep South.

In 2005, he was charged with “taking a beer truck without permission” after threatening to assault the driver.

And two years earlier, he was arrested after driving a 4×4 to Downing Street in protest of the war in Iraq.
