COVID-19 updates: the coronavirus numbers of every state and territory in one place

Here’s a quick rundown of what’s happening today with COVID-19 numbers across Australia, Tuesday, March 22

Another four people with COVID-19 have died in the state.

There are 1,177 people in hospital and 41 of them are in the ICU.

The state reported 20,960 new cases.



Victoria has reported seven new COVID-related deaths and 9,594 new cases.

There are 256 people in hospital, slightly more than the 248 reported Monday, including 24 in the ICU and five on ventilators.

Sixty-four percent of Victorian adults have now received three doses of a vaccine, while more than 94 percent of those aged 12 and older have received two.

There are 52,983 active cases in the state.
