Crime in Harris County: Authorities looking for driver who deliberately hit 53-year-old man in Home Depot parking lot

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — Authorities are asking the public for help identifying the driver they believe deliberately hit a man in a Home Depot parking lot in northern Harris County.

The incident happened on March 12 at approximately 7:35 a.m. in block 22300 of Kuykendahl Road.

The victim, a 53-year-old man, was walking from his vehicle to the store entrance when a white-colored Lexus RX 350 drove toward the entrance and then turned into the victim’s direct path.

A video released by authorities shows the victim trying to get out of the way, but the driver of the Lexus follows and punches him.

The car then fled back to the exit at Kuykendahl. Authorities said the victim was checked out and released the same day.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of the vehicle was described as a Hispanic man, whose age is unknown. The Lexus is a white RX 350. The vehicle is believed to be 2018 or later and has a black colored rack on the back.
