Discomfort and Anxiety Grow Among Guests as Disney Outrage Continues

Bestinau got that-

With all that has been going on around the Walt Disney Company in recent weeks, there has been growing discomfort among guests and Cast Members as the outcry against Disney continues.

In recent days there have been protests outside Disney’s headquarters in Burbank, California. As reported by news.com.au and Fox News, the rally was called at 6 p.m. yesterday, April 6, by the Christian group Hold the Line to protest what it said was the “overt sexualization” of children as part of the “awakened” agenda, according to them.

The rally was broadcast live via the group’s Facebook and YouTube. Some of the activities that took place during this rally included Bible reading and singing, having T-shirts for sale and the opportunity to donate money.

Rebecca Rose (@HeyRebeccaRose) urged Cast Members to stay safe during these protests and even advised them not to visit the buildings.

Apparently there will be an anti-LGBTQ+ “protest” outside Walt Disney Studios tomorrow. If you are able, do not work in any of the Disney offices or buildings. Stay safe out there everyone!

The Disney Walkout (@DisneyWalkout) Twitter account, created by Cast Members to coordinate the strike that took place in recent weeks, added that painting nearly 200,000 Disney employees as “groomers” prompted people to commit violence against them. This adds to the growing inconvenience among both guests and Cast Members.

Former cast member Ms. Rachel Williamson (@cinderchellaaa) recently expressed her concerns, dating back to her time as an active cast member. She notes that while working at Walt Disney World, she was constantly concerned about the possibility of a terrorist attack in the parks, often thinking about where she would hide if the need arises.

When I worked at WDW, I always had a slight constant fear about the possibility of some sort of shooting or other massive terror attack. Often when I was in positions I thought about where I would hide if something like this happened

In two subsequent tweets, Rachel adds that seeing the growing anger against Disney would make her even more concerned if she were still working there and that a shirt design that has surfaced recently isn’t helping her feel better.

With the growing far-right anger at Disney for being “groomers” by opposing the Don’t Say Gay law, I’d be even more concerned about some QAnon vigilante deciding to “return” by violent means. fight” against Disney if I were still working there. To be . † † scary

Things like this don’t help all my fears

If Rachel’s fear is understandable, it’s worth noting that the Walt Disney Company maintains strict security measures and Disney security often takes swift action for the safety of their guests. The official Disney site states the following about these measures:

We have a comprehensive approach to security that includes measures that are visible and others that are not. We do not broadly discuss the specifics of our security procedures so as not to compromise their effectiveness.

The visible security measures in our theme parks and resort hotels include the presence of uniformed police officers, who use specially trained hazard detection dogs to help patrol our parks and resorts, bag checks at the entrances of our theme parks and security kiosks in our resort hotels.

In December 2015, we implemented additional security measures, including randomly selecting guests for secondary screening using metal detectors at the entrances to our theme parks.

Additionally, there is a Prohibited Items List, with firearms at the very top, which is strictly enforced by security personnel at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
