In a recent interview with El Paso Inc. SPIRIT brain Tobias Forge expressed his decision to record “impera” of hlundwho also sat behind the desk for the acclaimed “better” attempt. Asked why he chose to end his string of works with a different producer for each new one SPIRIT LP, Tobias said: “The point is you have to keep moving so you don’t get stuck in a friendly comfortable mode. ‘better’the record i made with Class, was really good, but the recording and production itself let a few things improve. When it was time to record ‘impera’, writing and demos were finished in 2020. But in early 2021 the American producer who was supposed to make the record couldn’t come because of the travel restrictions and I couldn’t go to America. And because Class is also a very planned person, he had drafted a project that fell through. All of a sudden he had a few months off, and I was like, ‘That’s well timed, because I don’t have a producer. Would you like to produce the record?'”

They make me want to write better, to boost my playing a little bit. “
