Joe Rogan Says He’ll Quit If Podcast Becomes A Place Where He Has To “Walk On Eggshells”

He’s still just a regular Joe, Joe Rogan seemed to say on his Spotify podcast Tuesday.

Rogan spoke to MMA fighter Josh Barnett, who after his appearance on the hugely popular show wondered, “Is everyone going to talk about everything I say?”

‘They will,’ replied the host, ‘but it is the same. It’s just a conversation.”

After a short exchange about how The Joe Rogan Experience is “the biggest fucking podcast in the world,” Barnett insisted he told his wife not to worry about his looks because he knows Rogan is still just “my friend.”

The host agreed.

“We’re the same,” he said.

Rogan then expanded on the idea, linking it to fame, his podcast and, by implication, the recent “misinformation” controversies about vaccines put forth by some of his guests and his own repeated use of the N word through the years.

“If I become something different because it has gotten bigger, I stop. When it gets to a point where I can’t do it anymore where I have to do it in some weird way where I walk on eggshells and watch my p’s and q’s, f*** that! said a defiant Rogan of the show’s millions of listeners for which he gets paid $100 million.

The comedian/actor/MMA commentator’s tone contrasted with the remorse shown in the video he posted in January. “do it better.”

Likewise, apologies for his use of the N-word, which he called “The most regrettable and embarrassing thing I’ve ever had to talk about in public.”
