JuJu Smith-Schuster’s Mom Rips Steelers After Chiefs Trade

JuJu Smith-Schuster takes his talents to Kansas City and his mother makes it clear to Steelers fans that this was the franchise’s choice, not her son’s.

Sammy Schuster, the mother of the wide receiver, posted on her Instagram Story last weekend that she has lost a lot of followers and claimed that Pittsburgh didn’t want to bother to save the proverbial marriage.

“As expected, I’ve lost 400,000 followers,” she wrote. “It’s all right. I’ll say this…like all marriages, relationships, friendships…there’s always one person fighting to keep that love alive…In our case…We JuJu and I fought to stay in Pittsburgh because it never was about money, but about loyalty.”

“But I think Steelers had a new boyfriend in mind… [laughing emoji]† So they didn’t want JuJu anymore. FYI Pittsburgh!! We fought to stay!!! if your [sic] not wanted then why? To stay!!! Thank you to the loyal family (fans) who still follow me!!! Steeler Nations!!!!”

Smith-Schuster, 25, was cut from his season after just five games last year when he underwent surgery to repair a dislocated shoulder.

Off the field, Jackson Mahomes, brother of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is delighted that the receiver has landed in Kansas City, in hopes that the two social media stars can one day collaborate on TikTok. It is suspected that this will eventually happen.
