Double date! Justin Bieber† Hailey Bieber (born Baldwin), Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker ate together 10 days after Hailey was hospitalized for a blood clot that left her with “stroke-like symptoms.”
The group was spotted leaving Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday, March 20, according to photos obtained by the Daily mail† Each couple held hands as they made their way through a crowd of photographers and onlookers.
Earlier that day, Hailey, 25, shared multiple selfies smiling in the sun. “Sunday,” she captioned the Instagram slideshow — a stark contrast to the post she’d posted just two weeks earlier.
“I was having breakfast with my husband when I developed stroke symptoms and was taken to hospital,” the New York resident wrote on her Instagram Story on March 12, two days after the incident. “They found that I had developed a very small blood clot in my brain, which caused a little oxygen deficiency, but my body had cleared up on its own and I made a full recovery within a few hours.”
Despite the speedy recovery, she called the ordeal “definitely one of the scariest moments I’ve ever experienced,” and it seems her husband agrees. The 28-year-old “Ghost of You” singer spent “every moment” with his wife following her health anxiety, a source told We Weekly on March 14. “Justin has been sick. [He] I don’t feel the situation under control at all.”
The ‘Purpose’ artist echoed this sentiment at a concert a few days later, telling the audience at his show in Denver, Colorado on Wednesday, March 16, ‘It’s kind of crazy how life just randomly gives you curveballs. You can’t control much,’ he mused. “Most of you probably know or have seen the news about my wife… but she’s okay, she’s good, she’s strong. It was scary, you know, it was really scary. But I’m sure God has her in the palm of his hands, and that’s a good thing.”
Jenner and Booker’s relationship has also been in the spotlight lately. The NBA star, 25, opened up about his romance with the reality star, 26, in a rare interview with the Wall Street Journal earlier this month.
The athlete insisted that it is not “difficult” to have his love life in such a public spotlight, and was candid about his happiness. “Honestly, I enjoy life to the fullest, and that just came off my tongue so easily because it wasn’t always like this, but I feel like I’m in a good place now,” he told the outlet of the time. . “I love my family, I love the people around me and I love the impact I have on this world, the younger generation below me and the children who look up to me.”
Booker and Jenner have been linked since 2020, and Justin and Hailey – who have been friends with the 818 tequila founder for years – have been married since 2018.
