Kingston Police have released the above photos and are asking the public for help in identifying the owner of the vehicle’s photo, the suspect in the incident of an indecent act.

The incident took place in the early morning hours in downtown Kingston on Sunday, March 20, 2022. According to Kingston police, two female witnesses stood outside the Metro supermarket, located on the corner of Princess and Barrie Streets in downtown. Kingston as the two were awaiting pick-up service at approximately 12:45 PM when the suspected vehicle, a black pickup truck, pulled into the supermarket’s parking lot and parked in the accessible parking lot in front of the store. That parking lot is directly opposite the entrance to the Metro location.

After about five minutes, the suspect pulled out of the parking lot and slowly drove past the two women in front of the store, Kingston Police said in a press release on Friday, April 8, 2022. The black truck then pulled over, backing up, stopping in front of the two female witnesses. . Police said that since the truck was about 30 seconds in front of the women, one of them was able to see inside the suspicious vehicle.

“It was then that she saw the male suspect, who was alone in the vehicle, masturbating with his pants down. The suspect then drove south into the parking lot and then west onto Brock Street,” Kingston Police said.

The suspect vehicle is described as a black Chevrolet pickup that resembles a regular two-door cab. Police said the vehicle has a black truck cap on the rear bed (possibly a leather cap), which has side storage doors accessed via silver/chrome flip-up latches. The truck appears to have Xenon lighting, as well as distinctive thick aluminum or chrome aftermarket rims with six wide spokes.

“The specific configuration of this vehicle with these aftermarket products attached makes it very unique and easier to identify,” police said.
