Man found with ‘life-threatening injuries’ in Maryhill Street

Police have confirmed that a man has been found seriously injured on a street where a cordon has been set up.

The 41-year-old man was found on the road on Hathaway Lane around 5:50 p.m. on Sunday.

He was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Detective Sergeant Nick Gribben, of Maryhill CID, said: “Our investigation is ongoing into the incident and how this man was injured.

“I would urge anyone who may have helped the man to come forward.

“Have you seen or heard a malfunction in the flats or the surrounding area, please contact us.

“Anyone with information should call the police on 101, quoting Incident 2766 dated March 20, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
