Naomi Irion found dead in Nevada after kidnapping

Bestinau got that-

The body of 18-year-old Naomi Irion was found Tuesday in a remote part of Nevada, more than two weeks after the woman was abducted outside Reno.

Sheriffs had followed a tip about the woman’s disappearance that led them to a possible grave in Churchill County where a body was found, officials said.

On Wednesday, the human remains were confirmed to be “those of Naomi Irion,” the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office said, adding that the investigation was still ongoing.

Troy Driver, 41, was being held on $750,000 bail for the alleged kidnapping of Irion on March 12 while waiting for a shuttle to work at the Panasonic factory in a Walmart parking lot.

He was caught on surveillance footage pacing nervously before getting into Irion’s 1992 Mercury Sable and driving away. The vehicle was later found in an industrial estate.

Driver was sentenced to 15 years in prison in connection with a 1997 California murder.

The Churchill County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the findings of Naomi Irion’s human remains.
