New sighting of missing Shrewsbury man announced as family photo to find him

Nathan Fleetwood has not been seen since the early hours of Sunday

Following an initial call from West Mercia Police, officers received further information that 21-year-old Nathan Fleetwood was sighted shortly afterwards in the Kingsland area of ​​the city between 3am and 5am on Sunday.

Nathan was reported missing on March 27 after failing to return home after a night out in downtown Shrewsbury. Previously, the last reported sighting in the city center was around 2.30am after he left Albert’s Shed on Barker Street.

In a statement, a police spokesperson said: “Following our initial appeals, officers received further information that Nathan was seen in the Kingsland area of ​​the city between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. shortly afterwards.”

Nathan’s family has also released a second photo of him to aid in the search.

He is described as having short blond hair and wearing a white T-shirt with a black hoodie and black jeans and white Nike sneakers.

Photos showed a Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service fire engine and incident response unit at the quarry, where police were also alerted.

The West Mercia Search & Rescue unit said: “Specialized search teams are on their way to the Shrewsbury area to support the West Mercia Police Department on a high-risk missing person.”
