Police investigation into masked robbers raid Subway in Bilston High Street

A Subway fast food restaurant in Bilston is the target of two masked robbers. Police have released CCTV footage of men they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.

The assailants threatened staff at the shop on High Street before making off with a stash of cash. One of the robbers is believed to have been wearing a Wolverhampton Wanderers hat and a gray camouflage jacket, while the other was dressed entirely in black at the time of the raid.

A spokesman for the West Midlands Police said: “Do you know who this is in the distinctive hat and coat? We want to talk to him after two masked men robbed Subway in High Street, Bilston, at 8.30pm on Sunday 30 January.

“We are in the process of identifying the robbers and believe they left the area in a white Transit style van parked on a nearby street.
