Of course, no one has a perfect track record when it comes to, well, whatever — and it turns out there’s one movie that Sandra regrets.
Specific: the much-maligned Speed 2: Cruise Control from 1997, which replaced Keanu Reeves from the original film starring Jason Patric and took place on a slow-moving cruise ship.
The film came up in a TooFab interview with her The Lost City co-star Daniel Radcliffe, when the interviewer asked her if there are any films she’s made that were poorly received, but she’s kept going ever since.
“I have one that no one came by and I’m still ashamed that I was there,” she said. “It is called Speed 2†
“I’ve said a lot about it. Doesn’t make sense. Slow boat. Slowly heading for an island.”
Sandra went on to say she wishes she hadn’t “done” the movie at all — and she also revealed that Radcliffe is one of the few fans.
“I feel like there was some sort of cult love out there too,” he said of the film — and Sandra shut it down pretty quickly.
“Very quiet”, she joked about the level of cult appreciation Speed 2 has. ‘Like five people. Him and the other four 12-year-olds watching the slow boat going to the little island.’
Sandra also recently said she plans to retire from acting indefinitely — but if she comes back, don’t expect her to Speed 3† (Maybe that’s a good thing.)
