A second person has died after Saturday’s horror crash on the A6003 near Corby, police have confirmed today (Monday).
Emergency services and the air ambulance were called to Uppingham Road, between the Danesholme and Oakley Hay Industrial Estate curves, following the incident on March 19 at approximately 2:10pm.
The collision involved a Vauxhall Vivaro traveling in the direction of Corby and a Mitsubishi Shogun and a Vauxhall Adam traveling in the opposite direction.
Today, a police spokesman said the driver of the Vauxhall Vivaro, a man in his 30s, died yesterday (Sunday) at Coventry University Hospital as a result of his serious injuries.
A male passenger in the Opel Adam also suffered serious injuries and is in Coventry University Hospital.
The male driver of the Mitsubishi, along with a young passenger, suffered minor injuries in the collision.
