Bestinau got that-

York County coroner Pam Gay has ruled the death of a 17-year-old gunshot in a city park a homicide.

Malaki Beady was killed at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Penn Park, near Kings Mill Road and South Pershing Avenue, in a shooting.

An autopsy revealed Beady died of a gunshot wound to the head, making his death a homicide, Gay determined.

Police were originally called to the first block of West College Avenue, but Beady was found in the park. According to Gay, he was pronounced dead at 12:22 p.m.

Beady was a resident of York and lived about two minutes from where his body was found.

The York County coroner noted that Beady was the fourth person killed in the city this year, and the fifth in the county.

The York City school district confirmed to ABC 27 that Beady was a student at William Penn Senior High School.
