UPDATED AT 5:38 PM:
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for Guadalupe County until 6 p.m. Monday.
At 5:24 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm occurred that could cause a tornado near New Berlin, or Seguin, traveling at 40 mph to the northeast.

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for the counties shaded in RED on the map above. A “watch” means residents in the affected area must watch out for the potential of storms that could cause tornadoes, large hail and damaging wind gusts until 10 p.m. Monday.
If you eventually get a Tornado WARNING, take shelter inside, in an interior room, away from windows and on the lowest possible floor until the warning expires.
